LABS Q – laboratory information software for inspection order handling
Support for LABS Q in processing inspection orders
Inspection orders can be created both manually and automatically via interfaces or internal modules (e.g. scheduling). As this takes place, the processing of the inspection orders can go through various changes in status. Once handling is complete, these inspection orders are archived automatically using the LABS Q laboratory information software. In addition to various manual measurement entry options,
automatic results entry from the connected measuring instruments is also offered in order to support processing (see interfaces). Integrated LES functionality (Laboratory Execution System) supports workers in handling inspection orders. In addition, a special tablet app is available for assisting with inspection order handling. An ELN (Electronic Laboratory Notebook) – such as the Agilent OpenLab ELN – can, of course, be connected.
