Connection of analysis and laboratory equipment to LIMS

The linking of analysis and laboratory equipment to the LIMS is of primary importance today in view of increasing laboratory automation, and is also a key element in the implementation of a “paperless lab”.

The linking of analysis and laboratory equipment to the LIMS is of primary importance today in view of increasing laboratory automation, and is also a key element in the implementation of a “paperless lab”. iCD. offers a variety of options for the automatic import of analysis results which make manual entry of results a thing of the past, and therefore also help prevent errors.

In combination with the data collector produced by our partner Bartelt, we can now offer a solution which allows you to link any analysis device to all members of the LABS Software Suite. The data collector is an “all in the box” solution and is equipped with an on-board computer with Linux OS, plus all the interfaces (RS232, LAN) you require to link devices. It also provides the complete software framework used to generate new interfaces and drivers, which can then import the relevant data from the individual pieces of laboratory equipment. This is first collected and can then be presented clearly and concisely in the internet browser. During this process, you can sort and filter data so that you can then export it to LABS/Q LIMS or our SAP middleware LABS/QM. There are also options to export to MS Excel, Open Office as a CSV file, as an XML file, HTML, HL7 or, if necessary, into your required proprietary format.
